Most shipments to the USA are handled by USPS, while items going to UK and Canada are handled by Royal Mail and Canada Post respectively. Items going to France are handled by La Poste, while items going to Australia are handled by Australian Post. For all other countires, shipments are usually handled by national postal service of your country.

What happens if I don’t receive my order? 

Factors outside our control (i.e., customs clearance, protests, pandemic lockdowns) may sometimes cause delays. Please be assured that we will do our best to ensure that you receive your item on time, However, if for any reason you do not receive your order within 45 days from the order date. we will automatically issue you a full refund. 

How do I track my items with my country’s local delivery courier?

We provide an international tracking number and local last mile tracking number if you wish to track your item to see estimated delivery dates once your item has arrived in your country.

Please use your tracking number (click on the tracking link sent to your email and retrieve tracking number) if you wish to track your package ( Using USPSCanada PostAustralia Post etc) Please allow a few days for your tracking number to be generated – in most cases, the tracking number will start to show an estimated delivery date once your item is in transit within your country.

Do I have to pay for custom fees or VAT? (For EU customers)

In view of the new EU VAT regulations that came into force on 1 July 2021, plentyofoysters.com will be absorbing the VAT costs for shipments to the EU. You will not have to pay for any custom fees or VAT as VAT costs for shipments will be prepaid. This means that your shipment will clear customs as per normal. Please note that we will never request additional payment from our customers under any circumstances.

Currently, we are paying VAT through our logistics company IOSS number and this will be displayed on incoming packages to the EU (excluding the UK). Customers shipping to the EU will have their packages clearing customs without any additional VAT charges.

Does each item come with a tracking number? 

Yes, you will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped. 

How would I receive the tracking numbers? 

The tracking numbers would be sent via email to the email you used during checkout.

How long does it take to receive a tracking number? 

Our processing time is about 5 days. You will receive your tracking number as soon as it is shipped. As we use international couriers, please kindly allow a few days for the tracking information to be updated and displayed as our system pulls tracking information directly from the international courier (which only displays once they update the tracking). The tracking numbers will be sent to your email address you used during checkout.

I have ordered more than one item, why do I receive multiple tracking numbers from you? 

If you have ordered multiple items from us, you may sometimes receive tracking number for each item you order. This is because of package size restrictions in the mail and we have to ship them separately to avoid exceeding these mail size restrictions. We try our best to ship out multiple items in single packages for your convenience. In either case, you would be able to track each individual item in real time.

How do I track my order using my tracking number?

To track your order in real time, just click on the tracking number sent to your email to see the delivery status of your order.

Can I cancel or amend my order after payment? 

Please note that we generally do not allow order cancellations 12 hours after payment has been made. You may however request a change in item after placing your order (e.g., if you wanted a pink phone case instead of a white one). Please contact our customer service immediately using the contact us page before we ship out your items. Please note that we will not be able to amend your address or cancel your order once an item is shipped, as the shipping label is physically printed and affixed to the package and it cannot be changed once the package is in transit.

Why isn't my tracking information updating?

Your tracking information is processed by the carrier once they received the items.
However, they may sometimes not able to update tracking information for all packages immediately especially during peak seasons. Rest assured, your package will be processed regardless and if you don't see your latest tracking info just yet, please be patient and check again in a few more days .

What kinds of payment do you accept? 

At PlentyofOysters, we're committed to providing you with a seamless and secure shopping experience. That's why we've partnered with Stripe, a trusted and reliable payment processor, to offer you a hassle-free checkout process using major credit and debit cards.  All payments are safe and secured by encryption. We do NOT store your credit card information on our system.

What is your refund policy? 

In accordance with our buyer protection and refund policy, we will issue a refund if you don’t receive your item or if you item is not as described. If your item arrives damaged due to delivery handling, we will replace the damaged item with no extra costs on your part. Please read the terms of our Refund Policy here.

We process refunds in accordance to our refund policy as stated below:

Refunds for non-delivery of items 

*All items not delivered 45 days from the order date are eligible for automatic refund, subject to Clause 1.3 below. If you have not received your items after 45 days, please contact us for your refund.

1.1 For items going to all countries, we will issue you a full refund if:

(a) You have not received your item 45 days after the order date* (example: You placed an order on 1 Jan 2024 and it hasn’t arrived on 15 Feb 2024); and

(b) The tracking for your items shows that the item has not been delivered to your address.

1.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address you provide is accurate. Once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to make changes to the shipping address. If you provide an incorrect address, your order may be discarded by the delivery courier. In such cases, you will not be eligible for a refund for non-delivery of your item(s) under our Refund Policy. Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your purchase to avoid any issues with delivery.

1.3 If you have provided the correct address, we ensure a fair refund policy. For single item orders, if your item fails to arrive, we will refund you the cost of the item along with any applicable shipping fees. In the instance of multi-item orders where only a portion is delivered, we will refund you the cost of the undelivered item(s) and the associated shipping costs for those specific item(s).

1.4 Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days upon receipt and evaluation of your request. Please be aware that it may take between 5 – 10 days for the refunded amount to reflect on your card statement. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.

Refunds of Items Significantly not as Described 

1.5 In the unlikely event that your item arrives severely damaged or significantly not as described, our customer support team will require additional evidence to process a refund. This may include providing photos, screenshots, product descriptions, or other relevant material to verify the condition of the item.

Please note that you must notify us of any product defects within 7 days of receiving your item. This period begins from the date of delivery as indicated by the tracking information. We appreciate your cooperation in promptly reporting any issues with your order to ensure a timely resolution.

1.6 Our customer service and evaluation teams reserve the right to take the following actions based on their sole discretion:

(a) Provide a full refund or replacement if the item arrives severely damaged or significantly not as described;
(b) Provide a partial refund or replacement if the item is partially damaged during shipment or does not match the description; or (c) Provide no refund.

These actions will be determined based on the specific circumstances of each case, with the goal of ensuring fair and appropriate resolution for our customers.

Please be aware that we maintain an objective approach when assessing customer complaints. Our customer evaluation teams retain the authority to make the final decision on the refund amount, as outlined in clause 1.6 of our refund policy. We want to emphasize our commitment to delivering quality items and assure you that we have implemented rigorous quality checks to uphold this standard. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to address any concerns with the utmost care and attention.

1.7 By engaging with our services and making purchases, you acknowledge and agree that any decision rendered by our customer service and evaluation teams under the Refund Policy is deemed final and binding. 1.8 We'd like to clarify that we do not accept returns for reasons such as a change of mind or if you ordered the wrong item (e.g., incorrect size, color, etc.). It's essential to review your order carefully before completing the purchase to ensure it aligns with your preferences and requirements. We appreciate your attention to detail and understanding of our policy as we strive to provide a smooth shopping experience for all our customers. Items that conform to their description do not qualify to be returned or refunded under our policy.

Return Policy

2.0 Should you disagree with our decision and opt to return your item for a full refund, you agree to bear the shipping expenses. Please ship the item back to our MALAYSIA office at the following address with a valid tracking number:

2.1 You acknowledge and agree that shipping fees associated with returning the item shall be your responsibility. Additionally, you must provide tracking information for us to monitor the return of your order. Upon receiving the returned item, we will issue a full refund. 

2.2 Please note that this return policy specifically excludes clothing items, as returns for clothing will not be accepted due to hygiene reasons. We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we prioritize the health and safety of our customers. If you have any concerns or questions regarding your clothing purchase, please feel free to reach out to our customer support team for assistance. (see Clause 2.5 – 2.7 of our Refund Policy below).

Limitation on Liability

2.3 In making a purchase from us, you agree that our total liability to you under any circumstances, shall not exceed the amount paid (inclusive of shipping) for your item.

Refunds for Order Cancellations 

2.4 Except as outlined in Clauses 1.1 to 1.7 of this Refund Policy, order cancellations made after payment are deemed non-refundable. It's important to clarify that our buyer protection policy solely applies to items categorized as not received or not as described under the Refund Policy. It does not extend to order cancellation requests. For clarity, if you have any uncertainties regarding any details of an item listed in our store, we encourage you to contact our customer service teams for clarification before making a purchase, as order cancellations are non-refundable.

Refunds / Exchanges for Clothing Sizes 

2.5 We ship clothing items based on the size chart provided on each individual product page. It is crucial that you review the size chart and ensure satisfaction with the clothing size before placing an order. Please understand that we do not accept returns or issue refunds if your clothing item does not fit as expected. This policy is in place due to hygiene reasons, as we do not resell used clothing to any of our customers under any circumstances. If you have any questions or concerns about clothing sizes or how to measure your size according to the size chart, we encourage you to contact our customer service teams before making a purchase. 

2.6 In addition to Clause 2.2, we reserve the right to issue a refund (either partially or in full) if you receive a clothing item that significantly differs from the size you ordered as described in the size chart. A deviation of 7cm or more from the size chart will be considered a significant deviation and would qualify for a refund. For example, if the size chart indicates a bust size of 100cm and the clothing item you receive has a bust size of 110cm, this would be eligible for a refund under our Refund Policy. We are committed to ensuring that you receive clothing items that match the specifications provided and appreciate your understanding of this policy.

2.7 You acknowledge and agree that a non-significant deviation of 2-3cm from the size chart does not qualify for a refund. Such deviations are considered within standard tolerance levels expected during tailoring and manufacturing of clothing items. We strongly advise checking the size chart provided for each individual clothing item to ensure satisfaction with the clothing size before making a purchase.

Will my payment & information be protected?

We currently use Stripe - one of the most secure and trusted payment platforms available internationally. as our payment processor. With Stripe, all your information and privacy are strictly protected. You may make your payment using  major credit/debit cards accepted by Stripe including Master, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.

How will my order shipped?

All packages are shipped by reliable carriers from the nearest warehouses. Once they arrived in your country, they will be taken care by your national postal service before arriving at the shipping address you provide when you place your order.

Will my items be sent in one package?

We usually send the items in single package but occasionally we will need to send them in separate packages due to the size, weight of the items, location of warehouses where they are stored and other logistical reasons.

Will I get tracking number for my package?

Yes, we offer shipping  with tracking service. You will get your tracking information through your email as soon as your order is shipped.

Why isn't my tracking information updating?

Sometimes, they may not able to update tracking information for all packages immediately especially during peak seasons. Rest assured, your package will be processed and check again in a few more days .
Please contact us with your order number if there is no update after 10 or more business days.

I'm missing an item from my order, what do I do?

Sometimes your orders are shipped in separate parcels. Please check your emails, if you do get multiple tracking numbers, it means that your items are scheduled to arrive separately.

For assistance, contact us and make sure to include the information below:

  1. Your order number
  2. Missing item's name
  3. Photos of the package
  4. Photo of the shipping label on package received

* Please be advised that the details on the shipping label in your photos must be readable for us to investigate.

The tracking info says delivered, but I haven't received my order. What's going on?

This does not happen often. In such case, please first check with those who live with you and your neighbors to see if they have signed for the package, if not, please then check with your local post office. All domestic delivery issues are taken care of by your local postal service once the items arrived in your country.

Also, please make sure to that the shipping information is correct and complete when placing order. We will NOT be held responsible if you have put a wrong shipping address when checking out from our site.
